Three Incidents Involving Firearms Reported Nearly Simultaneously Wednesday Evening

 

On Wednesday, June 7th, 2017, at 1737 hours, Officers were dispatched to a business at the intersection of 23rd Street and Louisiana Street in reference to an armed robbery that just occurred in the parking lot of the business.

As officers were arriving at that location, at 1741 hours, a call was dispatched for an incident in the 1900 block of Rhode Island Street involving a similar suspect description and also involving a firearm.

Approximately 30 seconds later, a disturbance with weapons involving a firearm was dispatched in the area of 15th Street and Haskell Avenue.

A vehicle matching the suspect vehicle description was located in the area. A brief vehicle pursuit occurred in the area of 15th and Haskell Avenue, leading to a foot pursuit from the 1500 block of Hanscom Road. The foot pursuit resulted in the apprehension of three suspects. Initially it was believed a female suspect was still at large, but further investigation revealed only three suspects had been in the vehicle at the time of the pursuit.

At this time, investigators believe these incidents to be related. Additionally, investigators believe these three incidents are related to the armed robbery reported June 6th in the 1700 block of W. 24th Street. Further information is not available at this time.
